Following the acquisition, all Benz Oil facilities, including sales, oil analysis laboratory, manufacturing, and distribution sites, will be rebranded under the Amsoil name. Notably, Benz Oil boasts one of the largest on-site raw-materials storage facilities in the Midwest.
With a rich history dating back to 1898, Benz Oil will become part of Amsoil’s Industrial division, which caters to large customers in sectors such as metal stamping, plastic injection molding, power generation, and construction equipment manufacturing. Amsoil Industrial was established in 2021 as a dedicated business unit serving corporate clients through a specialized sales team.
The integration of the Benz team and facilities into Amsoil Industrial will significantly enhance the company’s capabilities and expertise in the realm of industrial fluids, according to Alan Amatuzio, Chairman and CEO of Amsoil.
This acquisition aligns with Amsoil’s existing portfolio of synthetic lubricants designed for various applications, including passenger cars, heavy-duty vehicles, and motorcycles. Their product lineup encompasses motor oils, transmission fluids, gear oils, and hydraulic oils.
